By Women, For Women

Traditional training fails women.

It wasn't designed for us. It doesn't understand how we learn, what we need, or why we're here. The result? Women feeling like outsiders in spaces that should empower them.

Sound familiar? You're not alone.

The Problems Fierana Solves

Intimidation & Judgment

Spaces where your questions are dismissed, your concerns minimized, and you're expected to just "toughen up" instead of being met where you are.

Fragmented Learning

Piecing together random classes, videos, and advice with no clear path forward. No one teaches confidence and capability as a complete system.

Missing the Foundation

Jumping straight to tools without building the awareness, boundaries, and mindset that actually keep you safe in everyday life.

There's a Better Way

A Completely New Approach

Finally, training designed around how you actually learn, think, and live.

For Women. By Women.

This isn't a "women's version" of something built for men. Every lesson, every pathway, every interaction was created from scratch by women who understand what you're really looking for: confidence that shows up in every area of your life. The skills you build here don't stay here — they follow you into meetings, conversations, and moments that matter.

Your Journey. Custom Built.

Whether you're just becoming aware of your options, actively exploring what self-reliance means for you, or ready to build serious skills — your path starts exactly where you are. The platform learns how you learn — and adapts.

Confidence Before Tools

Real capability starts with trusting yourself. We build your awareness, your voice, your presence — so you walk through the world differently, regardless of what you carry.

Built on Science, Not Tradition

Developed using neuroscience research on how women process information, respond to stress, and build lasting skills. This isn't recycled content — it's a revolutionary methodology.

Trauma-Informed Throughout

Your experiences matter here. Every lesson is designed to build you up — never trigger or overwhelm.

Fierana exists because the world wasn't built for us.

Not just the firearms industry — though that's where we start. The boardroom. The negotiating table. The doctor's office where we're not believed. The meeting where we're interrupted. The entire system that requires us to work twice as hard to be half as noticed.

More Than Training

This is a self-defense and firearms training platform at face value. But that's not what it really is.

What it really is? An empowerment hub. A transformation engine. A place where women discover that the confidence they build here doesn't stay here — it ripples out into every room they walk into, every conversation they have, every boundary they set, every opportunity they create.

The Ripple Effect

When a woman learns to trust her instincts here, she trusts them in the meeting. When she finds her voice to set a boundary, she uses it to ask for the raise. When she stands taller at the range, she stands taller everywhere. When she stops apologizing for protecting herself, she stops apologizing for existing.

This is what we're really building: A generation of women who know — in their bones — that they are worth fighting for, worth hearing, worth following. Women who lift as they climb. Women who reach back. Women who refuse to shrink.

A Rising Tide

A rising tide lifts all ships. We are the tide.

Every woman who transforms here carries that transformation into her workplace, her family, her community. She raises daughters who never learn to make themselves small. She mentors colleagues instead of competing with them. She changes what's possible just by existing differently.

One woman finding her power is personal. Millions of women finding their power is a movement.

We are not asking to be invited to a seat at the table.

We're building our own table.

We are not asking to be included in the conversation.

We're changing the conversation entirely.

We are not asking for permission.

We're giving ourselves permission — and each other.

Welcome to Fierana. Welcome to the movement.

Protection That Starts Within

Most training jumps to tools. We start with awareness, boundaries, and presence — the foundation that transforms how you move through the world before you ever consider anything else.

Firearms Pathways

The Dressing Room

Walk into any gun store and you'll get a dozen opinions — most from people who've never considered a woman's grip. Our guided tool uses your actual hand measurements to recommend firearms that fit YOU.

Community That Lifts You

Connect with women on similar journeys. Share victories, ask questions, find accountability. This isn't a solo path — it's a movement of women supporting women.

Real Guidance, Real Time

Live sessions with our instructors where you can ask questions, get feedback, and deepen your understanding. Learning alongside others who get it.

Progress You Can Feel

Track your growth with milestones that celebrate every step forward. Watch yourself transform from uncertain to unshakable — and have the badges to prove it.

Beginners & Firearms Fundamentals

Marine Corps Range Coach Firearms Technology A.S. Combat Lifesaver Certified

Spent four years in the Marine Corps training people on machine guns, pistol, and rifle ranges. Still gets nervous making new friends. Can fix anything in the house. Cannot do anything when it comes to cars. People assume she's a huge extrovert because of how active she is in her hobbies and how much she travels. Actually loves being home in the quiet with her two dogs.

Comfort movie: The Devil Wears Prada. Guilty pleasure: buying and selling vintage t-shirts. Currently getting her woodworking certification — it's requiring a lot of patience. Recently found a passion for painting surfboards. She's not the best painter, but finds it therapeutic and loves creating something from her own vision. Always has a mass of chapstick in her bag — five or six different sticks and flavors at any given time.

Sundays are dirt bike days. She and her fiancé load up at 8am, drive to a track in NC or SC, ride until 4pm, then come home, do laundry, and wash the bikes. Best friend would say her most "her" quality is saying yes to everything — even when she doesn't want to go somewhere or try something new, she says yes because of her fear of missing out.

She took a chance on range coach school in the Marines only because she didn't like her current job — and absolutely loved it. It became her purpose. Now she works with beginners, teaching fundamentals with a focus on comfort and safe handling.

"A student who was intimidated by rifles — had only ever shot .22 pistols — loaded her first magazine with just one round. By the end of the session, she'd found a new favorite firearm. Things you find intimidating today will be something you're proud of facing later."

Defensive Pistol Skills & Mindset

Tactical Anatomy Instructor USCCA Training Counselor Deadly Force Instructor

Can shoot anything that requires ammo or arrows. Cannot apply makeup — looks like a 4-year-old who got into mommy's makeup table. People assume she's intimidating, maybe even scary. Actually a big softy who cries with her students on the range — tears of trauma, tears of joy, all of it. True introvert with a real fear of public speaking. Loves taking the stage for classes anyway. Then disappears for days to recharge.

Comfort movie: Tombstone. Quotes it constantly. Owns a .22 lever action rifle with Val Kilmer's face engraved on it. Also carries a lock pick set everywhere she goes. Just in case.

She didn't pick up a handgun until her 40s. Left-handed and right-eye dominant — no one ever addressed it, so she was always off target and convinced she just couldn't shoot. Then she decided to try again. A few years of defensive handgun classes later, she found herself teaching her best friend at a range and knew: this was her purpose. Ten years in, she still takes classes as a student every month.

Drives four hours round-trip to teach because this is what she was made to do.

"A student once emailed me with the subject line: 'Thanks to your training and Jesus Christ my daughter is safe today.' Her quick thinking saved her 14-year-old from abduction in a parking lot. Her story is the reason I do what I do."

NRA Basic Handgun Instructor NC Concealed Carry Instructor Federal Firearms Licensee Author

Can parallel park. Cannot cook chicken to save her life — attempts it regularly, fails miserably. Has taught a single ladies class with over seventy women in it. Cries every time she sees a military homecoming surprise. Completely obsessed with her horse Peso. Eats chocolate every single day.

Comfort movie: The Three Amigos. Best friend would say her most "her" quality is always having a smile on her face. Currently teaching Peso cross-stepping. Sundays are church at 8am, Deep End Fitness from 10 to noon, then family time and planning the week ahead.

She worked for the California Rifle and Pistol Association for three years, then transitioned to teaching basic handgun — going on ten years now. Worked at a shooting simulator company before her family moved to the beautiful coast of North Carolina. Jumped right into training, started Ladies Nights at the local range, and eventually began teaching concealed carry. She sits on the board of the NC Concealed Carry Instructor Association and has written two books about shooting and the history of gun laws.

Horse mom.

"I've had women start class shaking and crying — only to finish smiling and asking when we could shoot together again. You are capable of more than you think."

Expert planner and organizer. Don't expect her to make it anywhere on time. Teaches boundary setting and drawing lines in the sand. Struggles to tell someone no or make them feel bad. Either running at 1000% or 0% — there's nothing in between. Will give you the shirt off her back, but might forget your birthday.

Mom to four — one son and three daughters — and being their mother is the greatest gift of her life.

Obsessed with cultures, language, and travel. Currently obsessed with Japan. Guilty pleasure: specialty notebooks, pens, pencils, and writing supplies. Has an office full of this stuff. Always has a notebook, a beautiful pen pouch, and five chapsticks in her bag. Currently learning Python.

A typical day: up at 5am, coffee with protein for breakfast. Lunch is overrated. If working from home, she'll be in PJs until 5pm. Luckily her husband cooks or the family would be living on cold cereal. Loves an afternoon nap if she can sneak one in. Hot bath after dinner, then whatever series they're watching. Summers mean hours by the pool with a book.

She felt she needed to get her concealed carry permit, took some lessons — and then went full Comanche mode. Classes, private lessons, every book, every method, practice after practice. Pretty much immediately knew she wanted to teach women. Got her first certification, then her second, third, fourth. Has been developing science-based methods and curriculum for two years. Never tried a competition — pistol and self defense is her thing.

"Working with someone who's been told they can't do something, or who's really fearful, and having them leave with the satisfaction that they actually can — what was once fear is now knowledge and respect. To help women get there is an honor and a privilege I don't take lightly."

Teaches skills meant for the worst days of someone's life. Gets emotional watching them realize just how capable they are. People assume she's intense or unapproachable — actually lighthearted, playful, and known for bringing calm when things feel tense. Thrives on structure, fundamentals, and discipline. Also a little goofy once the pressure drops.

Comfort movie: The Wizard of Oz. Guilty pleasure: otter and ferret reels — loses all productivity, regrets nothing. Hill she'll die on: coffee first, everything else is a discussion. Currently perfecting her steak. It's an ongoing project. Always has a back scratcher in her bag. Best friend says her most "her" quality is empathy — she notices what people don't always say out loud.

Her path into firearms began during a season when simply leaving the house felt difficult. She needed something steady, a sense of purpose — and training became that anchor. Starting as a student shaped everything about how she teaches. She learned firsthand how overwhelming instruction can be when it's rushed or ego-driven, and how transformative it is when patience and clarity lead. When her training group needed an instructor, she stepped in. She hasn't looked back.

Lifelong student of the craft.

Trained to stay calm in chaos. Soft when it comes to people she cares about. People assume she's intimidating because of her profession — actually soft-hearted, patient, and deeply invested in others' well-being. Serious and focused when it matters, goofy at home. Being a mom is what she cherishes most.

Lives on a ranch in Northern California. Mornings start with matcha in bed, then feeding horses and animals before taking the kids to school. If there's time, a horseback ride to clear her head, then down to her private range to practice dot torture drills. The rest of the day is ranch life and mom life. Sundays are either teaching or family — church with her daughters, Sunday dinner, game night. In summer, she'll squeeze in both a horseback ride and fishing after work.

She's been skydiving, swimming with sharks, zip lining, bear hunting, packing miles into the backcountry. Loves to push herself and live life. Horses keep her grounded in ways nothing else does. Guilty pleasure: chocolate. Best friend would say her most "her" quality is seeing the positive in every situation.

Started as a student, followed the NRA instructor pathway, then kept investing in her own training — tactical shooting, tactical driving, medical response. Now approved with 13 counties in California, teaching at 4 different ranges.

"Almost every student reminds me why I do this. They all have a story — a self-defense encounter, an abusive relationship, or just their first time shooting. All of those moments, I love to be a part of."

The queen of multitasking — as long as she has one song playing on repeat to function. She's calm in high-pressure situations and cries like a baby watching Moana 2. People assume she's organized and calculated because she's a court reporter, wife, and mother. The truth? She's winging it. No calendar. No scheduling. Just vibes.

Her morning is controlled chaos: alarm at 5am to get her daughters on the bus, then back to sleep until she wakes up frenzied. She's been known to get up at 8:30 for a 9am call — and still make it. Her German Shepherd Foxxiiee needs to go out. There's matcha or iced coffee to make (or grab on the go). Clothes are never laid out. Just vibes.

She's a court reporter by day, which means she could be done with work by 10am — or not. When she's home, there's cooking, playing taxi for her daughters' activities, and the gym in the evenings. Sundays are for cleaning, homestead chores (she keeps bees and quail), and sometimes visiting her in-laws.

Ne'Shara got into firearms training after getting exhausted by learning so many wrong methods and ideology. She became a student of the industry, trained intensively starting in 2019, and got certified in 2021. Now she loves working with families and beginners — and explaining the legal side of things. The law is her jam.

She teaches her students to relax and not stress over every minor detail — while being a severe overthinker herself. She's serious about the work she does, but doesn't take herself too seriously. She'll laugh at her own jokes before she finishes telling them, says "ouch" every time she bumps into something (whether it hurts or not), and puts hot sauce on everything. Her clothing style? Punky Brewster meets Ms. Frizzle.

Outside of training, she's irrationally passionate about music — every genre, thousands of songs memorized, can usually tell you the year it was made. She loves being a beekeeper because there's something special about watching thousands of little women working together to ensure their community thrives.

"Healing isn't linear or clean. Once you begin working on yourself, it can feel icky and messy and exhausting — but it's worth every step."

Studied with shamans around the world. Competes in USPSA shooting matches. Can get multiple degrees, learn anything, tackle any obstacle. Cannot adult — bills, chores, the cable company? She will burn it all down. Tall, athletic — everyone assumes she's the handy one. Her wife is the one who actually fixes things.

Guilty pleasure: bags and jewelry. Handmade leather bags with crystals from Peru, tactical slings, one-of-a-kind silver pieces with meaning. She has a closet exploding with this stuff. Her wife has stopped asking.

She came to firearms four years ago after watching women she loved get dismissed in traditional training spaces. Went to a concealed carry class to be supportive and left uncomfortable — the instructor spent the whole time being inappropriate instead of teaching. So she took another class with a female instructor. Something clicked. She found shooting meditative, surprising, enjoyable. And then the thought: What if I could create a space where women actually felt safe learning this?

For women who've felt out of place in gun culture — whether because of how they look, who they love, what they believe, or simply because no one took them seriously — she builds a different kind of space.

Background in somatic bodywork and trauma-informed practices. Also teaches beginner USPSA and competitive shooting.

Four planners, daily lists, schedules for everything — and clean laundry that lives in the basket all week. Teaches firearms instruction, yoga, and makes special edition books by hand. Gadget girl who's happiest with pen, paper, and candlelight. Gets unexpectedly emotional at the small stuff — watching a student's confidence click into place, a sentimental commercial, a perfect cup of coffee.

Comfort movie: the Twilight series. No apologies. Always has binoculars in her bag for spontaneous bird watching. Currently trying to recreate her grandmother's recipe for a roast she's never been able to match.

She joined a local rifle and pistol club on a whim, found an unexpected community, and within months was getting her instructor certifications. Now she's the one creating that same welcoming space for other women — especially the ones who walk in nervous and convinced they can't do this.

Questions

Fierana (fee-AIR-ah-nah) comes from the Latin fieri, meaning "to become." It represents the journey of becoming who you already are — the fire within you that's been there all along. The fire was always in you. We're just here to help you ignite it.

Every woman who wants to feel more confident, capable, and safe — whether that means carrying a firearm, never touching one, or figuring out what's right for you. First-timers and experienced shooters. City women and rural women. Anxious and bold. Skeptical and certain.

If you're a woman and you're here, this is for you.

Full access to our complete curriculum — 150+ expert-led video lessons covering awareness, boundaries, verbal skills, physical escape, non-lethal tools, and firearms (if that's your path). Plus live monthly classes, our private community, progress tracking, personalized pathways based on your goals, and tools like The Dressing Room gun fit finder.

Everything you need. Nothing you don't. All at your own pace.

No. Full stop.

We don't affiliate with any political party, organization, or ideology. Our members come from every background and belief system. What unites us is bigger than what divides us: wanting to feel confident and safe.

Politics stay at the door. This is a space where every woman belongs — regardless of how she votes, where she lives, or what she believes.

YouTube is scattered — you're piecing together random videos with no structure, no progression, no one checking if you're doing it right. Local classes are intimidating, expensive, and often taught by men who don't understand how women learn.

Fierana is complete, personalized, and built exclusively for women. A clear path from wherever you are to wherever you want to be — with a community that has your back the whole way.

Completely. Your data is encrypted and protected. Your membership, progress, and participation are private by default. We never sell or share your information. Period.

That's up to you. Lessons are 8-12 minutes. Some members do one a day. Some binge on weekends. Some take breaks and come back.

There's no schedule. No falling behind. No pressure. Your journey moves at your pace.

Absolutely not. Fierana is for all women — whether you never want to touch a firearm, you're curious, or you're already experienced.

Firearms are the capstone, not the foundation. Many members complete their journey without ever picking one up — and that's a valid, respected path.
